I hope you all have a relaxing Queens Birthday weekend. and it’s great the ground stopped shaking. The recent earthquakes have certainly reminded us all of what we need to do, and some of our students have been practising this.
Winter weather – Now that the weather is starting to get colder, it’s a good idea to pack a rain coat and a beanie to walk to/from school and maybe a spare change of clothes in case some children get caught out in the rain. We want to make sure our children are warm and keeping winter coughs and colds away. While we are still in Level 2 I again want to say thank you to everyone for your ongoing support, especially keeping your children home if they show any signs of being unwell..
I’m excited to see that some of the sports are soon starting up and that many of you have replied showing interest for your children to be a part of a Fairfield team. Sports are a fantastic opportunity to introduce your children to team sports. Forms have been sent home about basketball and winter hockey which will soon be starting. I’m also sure some of our children are disappointed that the winter Saturday netball was cancelled, however its great to see a plan B is in place, and more information will be sent out about this shortly.
School Learning Conferences – as you are aware we had to postpone these last Term due to being in lockdown. If any of you have questions/concerns feel free to make contact with your child’s teacher via email/seesaw at any stage and they will be more than happy to return your call/help.
Technology has started again and it is great to see the children adapting to the new systems, thank you,
